No, my background isn’t German, my family name is from Catalonia. Born in Chile, I graduate from Federico Santa María University as Electronic Engineer major in Telecommunications , and also got the Master Degree at the same university. After graduation I had the experience to work in Japan at NEC Corporation headquarters in Tokyo, working on the broadband access technologies and their implementations on south east Asian countries. Back in Chile I applied to the Monbukagakusho (Ministry of Science, Education and Culture of Japan) scholarship to pursue a doctorate degree at The Univerisity of Tokyo under the supervision of professor Kaoru Sezaki .
Currently I hold an academic position at Santa María University. I am also a visiting researcher of the Center for Spacial Information Science at the University of Tokyo.
My research interest are : Urban Computing, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Mobility Models, AI and Machine Learning among others.
