Short bio

I received the Ms. in Electronic Engineer and Professional Electronic Engineer diploma from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM), Chile, in 2003 and my PhD in Sciences: Automatique et Traitement de Signals et des Images from Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France, in 2009. My PhD concerned bio-inspired models for motion estimation and analysis applied to human action recognition and motion integration, entitled Development of Bio-Inspired Models for Motion Estimation: Analysis and Applications, and it was supervised by Pierre Kornprobst and Thierry Viéville, in close collaboration with neurophysiologists.

I worked as a researcher between 2011 and 2013 in the Electronics Engineering Department in the UTFSM, Valparaíso, Chile

Since 2014 I am a faculty member of the Department of Electronic Engineering at the UTFSM, Valparaíso, Chile
