I am a Principal Investigator (PI) and Board Member of the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E) at USM. Additionally, I co-lead the Biomedical Systems research line and currently serve as the Deputy Director of AC3E, following my term as Director from 2019 to 2024.

Our center aims to contribute to the technological development and competitiveness of the Chilean economy by achieving excellence in research, fostering knowledge exchange, educating advanced human capital, and generating technology transfer in areas of societal impact through the field of electrical and electronic engineering. Our long-term goal is to be a world-class scientific community that creates innovative and enabling the development of industry and society of the future technologies.
