I am the director of the Voice Production Laboratory (VPLab), within the Department of Electronic Engineering at USM. Our lab group studies new engineering approaches to understand and model different vocal pathologies. Our work ranges from modeling vocal function using numerical methods, visual analysis, and aerodynamic processing, to monitoring voice use during long periods of time.
