I obtained my PhD in Electrical Engineering at the ARC Centre for Complex Dynamic Systems and Control (CDSC) in the University of Newcastle, Australia, under the supervision of Prof. Graham C. Goodwin and Dr. Daniel E. Quevedo.

Currently, I am an associate professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM), in Valparaíso, Chile.

I was part of the Wireless Communications Reserach Group at UTFSM and one of the principal researchers of the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E).

During the last years I have also worked with Eduardo I. Silva, Prof. Arie Feuer, Dr. James Welsh and Dr. Jan Ostergaard , doing research in Signal Processing, Control Theory and Information Theory. Some specific research topics include:
Quantization of frame expansions, noise-shaping and predictive quantizers (including Sigma-Delta and DPCM converters), sampling, and networked control systems.

At present this site only contains my list of publications (most of them downloadable) and some of my unfinished musical works. Soon it will also include some images, lecture notes and more.
